Jac's on Monroe Street
The frites at Jac's were definitely interesting. The fries are fresh cut--straight cut--and have skins on them. They have the goodness of a french fry with the crispiness of a potato chip. There was a lot of seasoning on them, but it was really good. They come with aioli for dipping. I would put these in my top seven in Madison.

Cam sampled the fries at Babes monday, but was celebrating his team's championship baseball win and his teammates descended upon the plate like chummed piranhas. That said, I don't believe they held a candle to the frites at Jac's! Abby and I couldn't agree more with Elizabeth's assessment of these savory sensations...we loved them!
ReplyDeleteHowever, we have one request: We need a complete and dynamic ranking (a scoreboard, if you like) of Elizabeth's trials. We'll be watching! :)
